Alphapointe Plastics Adds New Injection Molding Capacity

Reinhard Mabry, Alphapointe’s President/CEO announced that Alphapointe has taken another step in advancing its business by adding to its injection molding capacity and, in time, creating new jobs for people who are blind. Alphapointe acquired the assets of Precision Plastic Products LLC of Olathe, KS.

Precision Plastic Products has been a supplier of pen components to Alphapointe for more than twenty years. This acquisition includes injection molding equipment and the tooling necessary to realize the longtime goal of bringing in-house all aspects of manufacturing China Markers and Hex Barrel Stick pens and other plastic products.

Mike DeMoss, former owner of Precision Plastics, has joined Alphapointe as our new Manager of Plastics bringing over 30 years of injection molding experience to help us grow this important business.

Alphapointe is proud to announce its acquisition of Matchless Molding, Inc. allowing us to expand our capabilities by producing a wide variety of micro molded plastic parts.
