Organized in 1911, Alphapointe is recognized today as one of the largest employers of people who are blind in the United States with principle operations in Kansas City and New York City. We proudly manufacture a variety of quality, useful products in our ISO 9001 certified facilities from office supplies to brooms and mops for government and commercial customers. Our call center which operates 24/7 is proud to have clients like Aetna Better Health, the Kansas City Area Transit Authority and the State of Missouri. Our state of the art injection molding department proudly supplies prescription bottles for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Express Scripts and others for veterans, active duty military, and their families. And our sewing operations supplies uniforms, blankets and life-saving devices to our Armed Forces.
Alphapointe is the only comprehensive provider of vision rehabilitation services in the state of Missouri, serving thousands of children, adults and seniors each year who strive for independence. Our NAC accredited services include low vision rehabilitation, educational outreach, activities for visually impaired youth, Braille, orientation and mobility training, adaptive technology and career counseling for people with vision loss. Our person-centered training and rehabilitation programs are delivered by highly qualified professionals who help people who experience vision loss get back on track faster and with renewed confidence.
